rinspeed eXasis

rinspeed, owned by frank m. rinderknecht, is the company that turns in something unusual every year to Geneva. After their amphibious car, a car that leans into turns like a motorcycle and many other you-must-see-it-to-believe-it models, this year features a car made of transparent plastic (the eXasis) to mark rinspeed's 30th birthday.

design overdose

caution: design junkies, do not click on the link above unless you have a lot of time on hand. this is a collection of the highest-grade art on the internet. undesired effects might include staying-up-at-night and uncontrolled creative injections. junkies beware.

constantine first

may 1st reboot is a worldwide, international, cross-disciplinary event. it is unique and of growing significance to anyone interested in the community of web design and the creative industry of those authors who take part. wholly independent, and non-for-profit, may 1st reboot is a call-to-arms without an impinging manifesto; a instance of collectivity across global parameters through the digital arena; a celebration of the richness of this community, of its creativity and diversity. if you are ready to reboot follow the link.

emi music belgium

check out this site from soleil noir featured on today's fwa. the concept is not new but soleil noir just integrates this site perfectly. the background has a beautiful design that you seem to forget about as soon as the menu option you have chosen appears. the interface pre-loads and loads are fast and extremely well integrated, the navigation is simple and creatively integrated to the purpose of the site. outstanding detailing work.

red interactive

this site is outstandingly creative. every user that logs into it has its own character they can control and play around the interface. at every single moment you can see how many people are logged into the site and also what they are doing. this site is going to be big, very very big. all thumbs way up.

virb

virb is the new hip social networking site that just moved next door. you like stuff. virb likes stuff. use it to keep all your stuff in one place - music, videos, blogs...you name it. all in a nice flash forward interface. you will be amazed to see how many people like stuff too.

get the glass

your mission is to help the milk-deprived adachi family navigate/survive all five regions of the board, break into fort fridge and get the glass. the glass offers the adachi the promise of an unlimited supply of milk to help with their various ailments. be careful, fort fridge security is on your tail. if they catch up you will go to milkatraz.

levi's dangerous liaison

bluri

this site takes traditional layout design and integrates it in flash. I am not talking about your usual flash + html site, this one is a full blown html free flash site. the preloader, the loading effects, the integrated radio station, the fade-out overlay menu option, the designers integrated everything with tact. the overall site just needs some navigability tweaks and it can convert any not-ready-for-flash-htmler into a flash junkie.

paris autmn/winter 2007-8 lookback: gaultier

jean paul gaultier takes us to the scotish highlands with this plaid-dominated collection. you could hear the sound of bagpipes without physically being there. His patterns are tradittional but his vision is fashion foward with a high level of detailing and representation.

paris autmn/winter 2007-8 lookback: dior

this season galliano goes high-end vintage for christian dior with the re-introduction of high-glamour, high-octane pieces. as his glamourous "femmes fatales" walk down the runway in their apple-green and acid-pink dresses it becomes harder and harder withholding your gaps. with perfectionist attention to detail and luxury couture techniques and embroidery, dior reminds us one more time that glamour is "belle et bien" french.

sixtyfoureights group

take the time to let this site load and experience freedom navigation. the concept is not new but the central navigation remote and the eclectic yet tidy interface make you love it immediately even though it is a bit of a scavenger hunt finding your way at first.

diesel always has highly creative microsite ad campaigns. i will go even further and say that diesel is the alexander mcqueen of creative online campaigns. whenever you think that they can't possibly outdo themselves they do just that.

dupont

featured on today's fwa this site literally takes you to the future. i have to say that i have enjoyed the virtual tour offered by dupont more than any real tour i have made in europe with any real museums. everything about this house is a wonder, from the garden to the roof deck. it is a pure design mastery.

clio by ripcurl

i am not sure if you will understand me when i say "this site is so renault". it is simple, with a stylishly succinct color palette, highly interactive, very easy to navigate and load. it's flashalicious.

cicchitti

the dynamic typographic oriented menu idea has been done before but this site adds a mouse motion controlled script with a wonderful palette of fluorescent colors. brilliant
